“Patricia Carr has presented four programs at NMPL, all with the generous support of the FRIENDS.
Patricia blends a visual presentation with her own special knowledge and humor. She has spoken on Queen Elizabeth II’s personal jewelry, both the family history involved and the stories behind the pieces.
She has also given two presentations on the Tudors, one on Henry the VIII and the most recent on Elizabeth I. Both programs focused on the personal lives of the two iconic figures and what influence that played on their public lives.
Patricia is also nothing if not versatile – she presented a superb program on the beauty of English gardens, their unique characteristics and historical styles. We look forward to having her visit us again!”
